Meet Dr. Adams
Dr. Adams has the privilege of assuming the leadership role at the most highly regarded orthodontic practice in the Wyoming Valley, Nahas and Donahue Orthodontics. Under a new name, Adams Orthodontics, he proudly carries forward a long-standing tradition of excellence, providing trusted care to three generations of patients.
Dr. Adams, a native of Harvey’s Lake, Pennsylvania, relocated to Doylestown, Bucks County, following his residency training. During his tenure, he established a private orthodontic practice, which he maintained for two decades. Dr. Adams attended Gate of Heaven grade school, Bishop O’Reilly High School, and King’s College.
Dr. Adams earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he completed a General Practice Residency and postdoctoral orthodontic training at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and serves as a member of the teaching faculty at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital Orthodontic residency program.

He is an active member of the teaching staff at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospitals’ Department of Dental Medicine, where he teaches orthodontic practice and theory to graduate orthodontic residents. Through his experience in general dentistry, teaching orthodontics, and love of continuing education, he is able to offer his patients the most modern up-to-date approach to their care.
He has been a Certified Invisalign® Provider for many years and has integrated clear aligner technology into his practice to offer his patients an alternative to traditional braces. He also added laser technology to his practice, which allows him to perform many simple orthodontic procedures comfortably and conveniently, and is certified by the World Clinical Laser Institute in soft tissue surgical and periodontal applications.

Outside the Office
"I live at Harvey’s Lake with my wife Tiffany, my sons William and John Paul, and our pug Winston. I enjoy spending time outdoors skiing, swimming, and I can often be seen riding my bike around the back roads of the Back Mountain."
